Technical Solutions Architect

What we are looking for

Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid or Remote, £50,000 - £80,000

We’re looking for a passionate advocate for innovation, that is skilled at identifying pain points and designing or modifying technical solutions to solve company problems, with excellent written and verbal skills, supporting in interaction and articulation to key stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  • Advising C-level, management executives and the broader enterprise, to transform their organisations for the digital age.
  • Collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to ensure familiarity with the client’s business.
  • Analyse and interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and comprehend the causes. Diagnosing IT system problems and inefficiencies.
  • Analysing and determining risks and mitigations such as security threats, data risks, human risks etc.
  • Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to a client’s objectives, strategy, capabilities and limitations.
  • Writing strategic reports, plans, financial models, roadmaps, and planning a timeline for completion of projects.
  • Support in the creation of proposal and bid literature, including technical responses and proposed project outlines.
  • Organise and execute assigned business and technology projects on behalf of clients aligned to the roadmap.
  • Present findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice.
  • Monitoring the success of technology solutions, adapting and refreshing these through continuous learning and improvements.
  • Producing detailed reports on the efficacy of the technology and strategy and updating the live roadmap.

What you need to succeed

  • Successful candidates may have worked technology for 5+ years with a minimum of 3rd line IT experience
  • Demonstrable technical experience, Microsoft and cloud technology (Azure/AWS)
  • Experience of developing technology vision and strategy along with transformation designs and roadmaps, for example cloud adoption, business, or team transformation etc.
  • Demonstrable experience in the production of client facing proposals
  • Ability to define and advise on IT Operating Models, and Cloud Operating Models
  • Understanding of strategy from theory through to practice & application
  • Experience of technology operations, project management, service delivery
  • Experience of understanding and articulating the impact of emerging technology trends
  • Experience in the delivery of large technology transformation programmes incorporating people, process and/or technology changes
  • Experience of managing client relationship up to and including C-suite level
