Bid Manager

What we are looking for

Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid, £40,000 - £50,000

We're looking for a Bid Manager to join to team to support in the end to end management of highly complex client RFPs, managing the individual bid team stakeholders to ensure successful completion, and award of each opportunity.

What you'll be doing

  • Evaluate client proposals, provided within RFPs, ITTs, and SQs in order to identify and rationalise new business opportunities.
  • Outline business risks in proceeding with opportunities and providing input into go\no go decision making.
  • Create a bid management plan, ensuring that we have adequate time\resource to complete each bid to the highest possible quality.
  • Providing project outlines and bills of materials required to satisfy the project criteria.
  • Producing diagrams and supportive materials required to help convey complex concepts.
  • Supporting the bid team in developing accurate responses to complex questions.
  • Performing quality assurance checks on content within the function.
  • Support in development of presentations and attend client facing meetings to aid in successful conversion of the bids as required.
  • Producing project risks reports.
  • Validating pre-defined technical solutions and approaches.

What you need to succeed

  • Proven work experience of Bid Writing or Bid Coordination
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • IT/Computer literacy (particularly MS Word, Excel, OneNote, web-based systems)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex tenders, precise scheduling and multiple and shifting priorities
  • Deadline orientated
  • Excellent project management skills with strong focus on attention to detail
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to influence at a senior level
