We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative with experience in the Mid-Market or Enterprise to join our Business Development function. As an essential and core function of ROCK’s business, you will be acting as a first point of contact from new and prospective mid-market clients using our technical knowledge and sales experience. This will be further enhanced by ROCK’s onboarding training scheme, enabling career growth and the development and growth of our existing client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be able to execute a multitude of outbound lead generation approaches via phone, email and LinkedIn
  • The ability to generate interest in ROCK’s key services and pillars within the mid-market arena
  • Researching and qualifying leads via internet research skills for maximum engagement levels
  • The ability to maintain and update our CRM system’s daily for pipeline visibility
  • Arrange qualified meetings for your Account Manager with a relevant stakeholder
  • Reporting on your KPI’s (weekly/monthly/quarterly)​​

Essential skills & experience

  •  A strong and confident telephone manner when engaging at Director level and above
  • Experience engaging with Mid-Market, Enterprise or Public Sector
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft package including Powerpoint, Excel, Word etc
  • Use of CRM systems such as Hubspot and Salesforce
  • Strong communication to be able to articulate ROCK’s core value pillars whilst being able to objection handle
  • A self-starter who can take on and manage their own workload whilst hitting and exceeding sales targets
  •  Have an eye for detail, ensuring you are disciplined and structured in your approaches
  • Have the drive to earn which will enable you to hit and exceed sales targets

Desirable skills & experience

  • Previous experience in a sales development role dealing with Head of/Director level prospects
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT solutions along with Microsoft, AWS cloud platforms
  • Experience with lead management
